Vitor Pereira is becoming the head coach of last-place Wolverhampton in the Premier League.

The English football media, led by the BBC and Sky Sports, predict that Wolverhampton, stuck at the tail end of the Premier League, will hire a Portuguese as their head coach Vitor Pereira’s. He currently coaches al-Shabab in Saudi Arabia.

Wolverhampton is last in the Premier League. The ranking is bad compared to the quality of the team’s players. Wolves’ defense in particular is leaking, as it has conceded the most goals in the Premier League.

Coached Wolverhampton Gary O’Neil was fired last weekend, when the team had lost 1–2 at home to league champions Ipswich.

Pereira would be a consistent choice for Wolves, as the club has seen a lot of Portuguese players in recent years. Pereira has coached in Europe, for example, the Portuguese Porto and the Greek Olympiakos.
