MC Solaar unveils Triptyque Lueurs Celestes the first of three

After seven years of absence, MC Solaar is releasing “Lueurs Célestes” this Friday, the first part of a triptych of albums.

After seven years of absence, MC Solaar is back with an album: called Triptych: Heavenly Lights, it is the first part of three unreleased albums. Announced at the beginning of the month by the surprise single They dance, this first disc is made up of seven previously unreleased tracks. A first since Géopoétique, his last album, released in 2017. “During these seven years, there was a year of confinement. When we came out of it, I was bulimic. We did a tour with a big band, and directly after the second year of the big band, we entered different studios, in different cities to meet different producers”, explains the artist to BFMTV.

This first glimpse of his triptych opens with the striking Stone-leaf and offers some nuggets as he has the secret, like the song Modernity. All with sharp texts, depicting our society and its failings. After Heavenly GlowsMC Solaar will publish two other discographic parts, in parallel with his tour of around sixty dates, including two Olympia in March and four dates at the Salle Pleyel in Paris this fall, in November.

In recent years, MC Solaar has been relatively discreet on the media scene. In May 2023, he revealed Everything is transformeda song taken from the blockbuster soundtrack Transformreleased in June.
