The French star’s new club, Real Madrid, will not allow their player to the Olympics.
The captain of the French national football team and the biggest star player Kylian Mbappe admitted that, despite his wishes, he will not be able to participate in the Paris Olympic tournament organized in July-August.
Mbappe, 25, will start his journey at the end of the summer in his new club team Real Madrid, whose season will start in full swing right after the Olympics. The final of the men’s Olympic tournament will be played on August 9.
– My club team has taken a very clear position regarding the Olympics, so I will not be able to participate in the Olympic tournament, Mbappe said before the European Championship opening match against Austria.
– I wish the French team success, and of course I’m going to watch every match of the team.
Mbappe, who won gold at the 2018 World Cup in France’s shirt, is aiming for the second big win of his career with the national team at the summer European Championship. In Group D, France will face Austria, Holland and Poland.
