Maxus T90EV, the electric pickup model of the brand, which will enter the Turkish market in June, may bring firsts to its segment in Turkey.
As in the global scale, we are starting to see Chinese brands much more frequently in Turkey. Among the manufacturers offering user solutions in different segments, a new one will be added as of June. Getting ready to come to Turkey under the umbrella of Doğan Trend Automotive, Maxus will bring a brand new breath to the market with its product range focused on commercial vehicles. It is among the important points that the brand, which draws attention with its models in the focus of electricity, is under the umbrella of SAIC, as in MG. One of the most curious models of Maxus, where we will learn about the planning of the product range to be presented in Turkey within the scope of the event to be held in the first week of June, will be the T90EV. It is not possible to talk about a clear sales planning for the Maxus T90EV, which is located in the electric pickup segment, which we have not seen an example of yet. Before getting answers to our questions within the scope of the event, we look at the prominent features of the model together.
What does the Maxus T90EV offer with its technical specifications?
In order to get to know the T90EV, let’s start with its dimensional characteristics. With a length of 5,365 millimeters, a width of 1,900 millimeters, a height of 1,809 millimeters and a wheelbase of 3,155 millimeters, we can say that the model is close to the new generation Volkswagen Amarok. T90EV, which takes its power from the only electric motor that produces approximately 200 horsepower, supports 1 ton load and 750 kilograms of load traction. When we look at the battery side, we see that an 88.5 kilogram package is positioned as standard. In this combination, the vehicle can cover a range of up to 471 kilometers in urban use, according to WLTP standards. Let’s especially point out that this figure has decreased to 330 kilometers as a combination with the introduction of long-distance dynamics. The model, which does not miss the fast charging support, can go from 20 percent to 80 percent in approximately 45 minutes at the best rate of 80 kW. If the filling is done via an 11kW AC source, a 9-hour period is required from 5 percent to 100 percent.
