Active from May 3 to 14, the swarm ofshooting Stars eta-Lyrids takes its name from the constellation where it comes from: that of the Lyre.

This swarm was discovered recently by video and photographic observations. It is associated with the comet C/1983 H1 Iras-Araki-Alcock.
