Father Zlatan has ended his active career as a soccer player.
Now the next generation Ibrahimovic, son Maximilian, 18, has also donned the national team jersey.
Maximilian Ibrahimovic plays every day in Milan’s P19 team, and there he has been responsible for a successful autumn. Four goals in six games has meant that he has now also been selected for the national team.
On Tuesday, he put on “Blågult’s” training kit for the first time, ahead of the P18 national team’s training matches against Japan and the USA in Spain.
– I understand that he creates attention. He has done well in Milan, scored his goals in the Primavera team and is a good player at getting into the penalty area, what we call the “goal zone”. I think he shows this too, says the P18 national team captain Andreas Pettersson to Aftonbladet.

And already on Wednesday, the 18-year-old can make his debut in the national team against Japan.
