Max CEO says sorry to customers Would like to apologize

In mid-October, Max Burgers released a new hamburger – but not everyone got to try it.

The news was secret and only those who had obtained the correct password could buy it on the day of launch.

To find out about it, you had to call a number and distinguish what was said on the other end. The code then had to be stated at the cash desk at the restaurants that sold the burger.

The news had an unusual flavor combo

– Without revealing too much, we dare to promise an exciting taste experience where salty, sweet and crisp meet, Max’s press department told News24 before the release.

It turned out to contain a combination of fried mozzarella, lingonberries and barbeque – but despite the unusual combination, the novelty seems to have gone down well with customers.

Here are some of the comments on Max’s Instagram:

“Eat 2 days in a row! COMPLETELY BRUTAL GOOD!”

“Tried today, really good!”

Max CEO says sorry: “Want to apologize”

They don’t seem to have been entirely convinced that the burger would be equally well received everywhere, and have even posted an apology in video format.

It is primarily aimed at all Italians whom they are afraid of having upset with the new launch.

“Dear Italians, we want to apologize,” the video begins.

They then defend the burger and urge any skeptics to try it before passing judgment.

“Before you go screaming ‘Italian food crime’ on the internet, try it.”
