Cannondale updates one of the figureheads of its catalog, the Mavaro Neo. If this city bike, cut for long journeys, changes relatively little on the aesthetic level, it is to better develop its technical part and establish itself as a reference in terms of autonomy.

Big changes “under the hood”
In terms of motorization, on the one hand, the Mavaro Neo (2022) adopts the latest system from Bosch, its traditional equipment supplier. This use of the “Bosch e-bike smart system” also allows Cannondale to integrate the largest battery available from its supplier, a 750 Wh block.
In fact, the Mavaro has a record range of 175 km, according to its manufacturer. Of course, to reach this figure, you will have to be content with driving in eco mode and benefiting from a favorable environment. If the reality of use should be significantly different, the battery of the latest Cannondale will still remain one of its main assets.
The other major new feature of this update is the integration of a Garmin radar to detect surrounding vehicles. Derived from the Varia system, it is very popular with road cyclists, and it is integrated into the rear brake light of the Mavaro.
