First shock in this African Cup of Nations. After losing this evening to everyone’s surprise against Mauritania, the Fennecs were eliminated from CAN 2023 in the first round after a goal from Dellahi. The competition loses one of its favorites to the final victory in the groups.

Eliminated from the CAN 2023 after the defeat against Mauritania, the Fennecs exited the competition from the group stage in 2 consecutive editions for the first time in its history.
