Matthew Tkachuk (3+1) sparkled as Florida Panthers’ number one goal in the NHL hockey round. Arizona’s Matias Maccelli was responsible for the only Finnish goal of the entire round.
Florida Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk has gotten into a frenzy in the hockey NHL. Tkachuk forged 3+1 performances and sparkled as Florida’s number one goal in a 5–1 away win over the St. Louis Blues. Tkachuk has produced incredible results of 5+6 in the previous three matches.
The victory was the eighth in a row for the Panthers. Alexander Barkov and Anton Lundell both get an assist. Barkov was involved by Sam Reinhart 2–1 in the goal and Lundell initiated Tkachuk’s 4–1 hit.
Eeli Tolvanen continued his strong season in Seattle’s win over Buffalo. Tolvane had a two-assist night as the Kraken celebrated a 5–2 victory over the Sabres. Tolvanen served in the opening set Yanni Gourden mixed Vince Dunn hits. Seattle goes on a seven game winning streak.
Tolvanen is playing his best NHL season. The Finn, who has played 40 matches this season, has scored 10+16=26.
Toronto’s Swedish striker scored a skillful goal
The Toronto Maple Leafs beat the San Jose Sharks 7–1. The top scorer of the match was Toronto’s man with two goals and two assists Mitchell Marner.
Toronto’s Swedish striker Pontius Holmberg made a wonderful 4–0 hit with one hand, which was enough for San Jose’s Finnish keeper Kaapo Kähkönen. Kähkönen missed San Jose’s goal for about 22 minutes and made 16 saves out of a total of 20 shots. After this he was replaced to Mackenzie Blackwoodwho made 22 saves.
Matias Maccelli’s long dry spell ended
of Arizona Matias Maccelli was responsible for the only Finnish goal of the NHL round. Maccelli gave the Coyotes a 3–2 lead in the third period of the game against the Boston Bruins. At the same time, Maccelli’s nine-match scoreless streak was broken.
In the struggle, the Bruins were still tied, but Arizona won the battle in overtime 4–3. Nick Schmaltz settled the fight in overtime.
