Börje Salming and his family are in Toronto – where he will be celebrated on Friday and Saturday when the Toronto Maple Leafs play two home games.
Now he is also praised by Mats Sundin.
– We are all with him in the difficulties that he and his family are going through right now, Sundin says in a podcast with Canadian Sportsnet.
The legend Börje Salming suffered from the nerve disease ALS, which has led to him having difficulty talking, walking and eating. After the announcement, he has been praised by the entire hockey world, and now he will also be praised in front of his former home crowd in Toronto.
