Mats Sundin is one of Swedish hockey’s giants.
Together with Peter Forsberg and Nicklas Lidström, they are the best ever.
But now “Sudden” is forced to choose who is the best of “Foppa” and “Lidas”.

“Sudden” can also proudly display an Olympic gold and three WC golds with Tre Kronor as well as a SM gold with Djurgården. In 2012, Mats Sundin received his great recognition when he was elected to the long-standing Hockey Hall of Fame, as the second Swede in history after Börje Salming.

Then he is pressed further and then an answer to the impossible question finally comes.
– Both were equally important and had completely different roles. But Lidas was awarded as Sweden’s best of all time (named “Player of the Times” by the Swedish Ice Hockey Federation), so he is probably a bit more meritorious then, admits Sudden.
