Match penalty after 12 (!) seconds: “Right in the head”

Djurgården had a nightmare opening in final match three.
Wiktor Nilsson received a match penalty after 12 seconds.
– Right arm right in the skull. He will be allowed to leave the arena, said Johan Tornberg while the judges video reviewed the situation.

Wiktor Nilsson’s match was only 12 seconds old before he had to go and shower. The Djurgårds forward received a match penalty for a head tackle.

He put in a serious tackle on Simon Bertilsson, who, judging by the TV images, looked groggy after the tackle.

– Right arm right in the skull. He will be allowed to leave the arena, said Johan Tornberg while the judges video reviewed the situation.

A little less commotion arose after the tackle and several players ended up in a fight.

Djurgården was forced to play two of the five minutes in five against three after a puck out, but Djurgården’s box play killed all five minutes in decimated numbers.

The match is in progress.
