Gilles Simon officially retired this Thursday, November 3 after his defeat in the round of 16 of the Paris Bercy Masters 1000 against the Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, absolutely imperial. Aged 37 and on the professional circuit since 2002, Gilles Simon leaves with one of the finest records in French tennis with 14 titles, 1 Davis Cup and a 6th place as best ranking in 2009.
