Arttu Heinonen led HJK women’s soccer to the Finnish champion in his second head coaching season.
The Helsinki Football Club, which has already decided the Finnish women’s football championship, has signed a comprehensive extension contract with its head coach for next season Arttu Heinonen with. Heinonen has been HJK’s head coach for two seasons.
HJK’s entire coaching group will largely remain the same next season.
– This year has been a huge success, on which it is nice to start building the next season. We look forward to being able to measure our own level also on international fields, and towards this we also want to develop our operations, says Heinonen in the press release.
The national league championship guarantees HJK a place in next fall’s Champions League qualifiers.
HJK will face Åland United in the final round of the National League on Friday. The live broadcast on TV2 and Areena starts at 6 p.m.
