The master chef participant Savannah Sylvander happened to say something she today wishes she did not say.
Sweden’s master chef, to say the least, rolls on and the already strict jury consisting of Tom Sjöstedt, Tina Nordström and Tommy Myllymäki Just gets stricter and stricter.
Week after week, amateur chefs from all over the country have been sweating among the saucepans and had to take on information they have not tried. Among other things, there may be tasks and challenges where the contestants do not know what to use for ingredients. This at the same time as they will hook arm with a competitor they will then compete with.
Lisa LevánThe Ebba Gulliksen and Anton Kratz are three of those who went out of the competition. They have then chosen to visit the pod “after the court” driven by entertainment reporter Evelina Collin Reuterfors and the old participant Josefine Freij.
There it has been told, among other things, about whether you get to google recipes while cooking in competitions and about how it really works when the jury tastes.
– You must not google while you cook. But yes you found out about the challenges before the cameras were turned on so you got some time to actually google and then plan your right. And most people find out about the dishes already in Sync, ie where they are interviewed alone, Evelina said in a previous section.
– When the jury screams release everything you have or there is time out, then you think that everyone is left and that they should taste after a while. But the truth is that all participants can then leave the room and you go to the sync (the room where the participants are filmed alone) or to a waiting room that is outside, she says.
The jury is therefore not waiting for all participants to come in and present their dishes to them but taste directly to be able to give a fair assessment.
– Then the jury takes the opportunity to taste all the participants’ dishes while they are hot. These are such things that make it all take a little longer than you might think, Evelina passed on.
Master-Chef-Savanah to be accused of cheating
This week there was none other than Savannah Sylvander which was forced to leave. Which stirred up the feelings of many viewers. Savannah, who today is only 19 years old, stepped into Sweden’s master chef with noise and bang and has from the start been very popular with both viewers and jury.
But her case – it became a pumpkin cake.
But you can say that Savannah had a little headwind before the competition. This when she happened to tell you a thing that would not come to her advantage then the guest chef Tea Malmegård Come and guest.
Savannah is one year into the chef training and a trained baker and pastry chef. Which then some people considered to be cheating when she possesses knowledge that can benefit her in the competition.
– Some have raised a little on the eyebrows for this, says Evelina questioning in the pod.
– I don’t know why I said that quite frankly.
– No, it felt a bit like you came to yourself when you got a strong reaction from Tea.
– So in hindsight, it might not be so great that I said that. But I still think my cake should have taken me on, Savannah laughs.
