Massive mural adorns Simcoe building

A new mural by artist Meaghan Kehoe has been added to a building in downtown Simcoe.

Building owner Lanny Horne says the mural, created in conjunction with the Simcoe BIA, is the biggest one in the downtown to date. The work covers the side of the two-storey building at 18-20 Kent Street South and measures about 100-feet (almost 30-metres) in length.

This is the third mural by Kehoe in Simcoe’s core.

Last year, the Oshawa artist painted murals on a building at 4 Peel Street and on Church Out Serving’s Riversyde83 building on Sydenham Street. Other artists have also added to the mural collection on buildings in downtown Simcoe.
