If you want to enjoy hours of sci-fi bombast in one go, you have to hurry up on Netflix. The first five installments of Michael Bay’s Transformers series are currently still available for subscription on the streaming service, but that won’t be the case for much longer. Transformers 1-5 disappear after May 31, 2023 at Netflix. The timing couldn’t be more inappropriate.

The five parts of the sci-fi series are ideal for preparing for the theatrical release of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. Steven Caple Jr.’s upcoming blockbuster continues the franchise after the franchise failed to hit the box office with Part 5 and its spin-off Bumblebee.

The seventh Transformers film takes place in 1994, where two teenagers are the focus of the plot. Anthony Ramos as Noah and Dominique Fishback as Elena should prevent the end of the world. They get help from well-known Autobot heroes like Bumblebee and Optimus Prime. New to Transformers: Rise of the Beasts includes a Robot eagle, robot gorilla and robot big cat.
You can still stream Michael Bay’s Transformers 1-5 on Netflix with a subscription until May 31st. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will then start on June 8, 2023 in German cinemas.
