The grave, in which the lifeless bodies of 25 people were placed in bags, were discovered by a group of locals who came together to search for their missing relatives. Members of the group said they scanned the area after suspecting areas of collapse on the surface of the land. Jalisco state government, on the other hand, sent construction equipment and police teams to the region to carry out search operations in the field.
THE NUMBER OF BODY FOUND CAN INCREASED
It was reported that the mass grave was first found last Friday and the dead bodies of 16 people were found during the first excavations. As a result of the ongoing excavations, it was stated that the number of bodies found yesterday increased to 25.
Officials stated that they estimate that there are more corpses in the field and stressed that excavations will continue until the last body is found in the area. (UAV)
