Video material has been circulated on social media about the mass battle that took place after the semi-final match between the Ilves and Kärppi Champions League on Saturday.

Ilves won the match Joona Ikosen hit 1-0 and moved to 3rd in the match series. The teams will meet next Monday.

According to a video shared on Twitter, the situation is triggered when a police car drives to the scene and some of the fighters run away.

Karsi also states that based on the information spread on the Internet, it is possible that the fight would have been agreed in advance. However, this is only speculation, not confirmed information, Karsi pointed out.

Chairman of the Far Flies Miia Joupperi comments on Twitter that he does not see members of the association in the video. Sport reached the Vice President of the Far Flies Pekka Koiviston, which says the same thing: the matter has been clarified, and according to his information, no group of Far Flies was involved. Koivisto says the fan group condemns that action.

Sports has not reached Ilves’ support group to comment on the matter.
