Mass crash in the Tour de France

It took until the 14th stage, then the accident happened and the first major mass crash in this year’s Tour de France was a fact. At least 30 cyclists were involved and the race was stopped for a while.

The crash happened a few kilometers into a downhill on the 151.8 kilometer stage from Annemasse to Morzine Les Portes du Soleil.

Medical personnel arrived at the scene and Spanish cyclist Antonio Pedrero of the Moviestar Team has been forced to abandon the race.
