Marvel Snap new card game, this beautiful creation developed by the old Hearthstone cult has come to light today. The team has been busy developing the game for quite some time. Right after the latest Dr Strange: In the Multiverse Madness, we can say that we were enchanted by such a beautiful content from the Marvel universe.
Marvel Snap’s new card game officially unveiled
Marvel Snap’s new card game, made by Second Dinner, founded by former Hearthstone cultivator Ben Brode, was introduced to the press today. The game making process took four years, and it’s finally officially out. The developer distinguishes the game from other games by claiming that the game is one of the fastest games of the CCG (Collectable card game) genre.
Second Dinner promises to be a game that is very fast, each battle is estimated to last about three minutes, while it is stated that both players can play at the same time instead of waiting for each other. The game also features a number of new concepts, such as a “snap” mechanic that allows the side that is sure of victory to double its advantage.
Its difference from similar game types will be its speed
The cards in Marvel Snap are similar to the cards in Hearthstone and Magic Arena, which are similar games in the CCG genre. They appear to have attack and defense powers assigned on the cards, they have abilities that are triggered when cards are played or interacted with the head. The decks consist of 12 unique cards, and at launch there will be over 150 unique cards featuring characters from all over the Marvel universe.
Marvel Snap is the premium debut game from Second Dinner, a game studio founded by Ben Brode and including former Hearthstone dev team members. Additionally, Second Dinner has partnered with publisher Nuverse, owned by Marvel Entertainment and TikTok developer ByteDance.
Marvel Snap’s new card game will be free to play and available on mobile and PC platforms, and starting today, players can sign up for a limited closed beta on Android devices.
