Marvel co star is disappointed over his exclusion from Deadpool

The superhero hype is no longer as noticeable as it was a few years ago – unless a certain Spider-Man is involved. Marvel fans seem serious, though the meeting of Deadpool & Wolverine to look forward to, which is coming up this summer.

This also applies to a co-star from Deadpool 2, who would have preferred to be part of director Shawn Levy’s superhero role.

Oh Snap! Josh Brolin would have liked to have starred in Deadpool & Wolverine

As finger-snapping Thanos aka Josh Brolin trumpeted on The Playlist’s Bingeworthy TV Podcast, he wouldn’t have minded being the man again Marvel character Cable to take part. Interestingly, he is listed for the film on IMDb with the addition “allegedly”, but is confirmed not to be involved. Unless there’s another big cameo surprise and he’s fooling us.

In any case, he says with a laugh: “I wanted to be in the film so bad”and means that Marvel Studios secrecy was so pronounced that he never found out why he wasn’t there. “Cable was a lot of fun, I really liked playing that role”.

Josh Brolin in Outer Range

Above all, the actor, who can currently be seen in his sci-fi western Outer Range on Amazon Prime Video, is a big fan of the two main actors, Ryan Reynolds, and especially of Hugh Jackman:

Deadpool & Wolverine, which by the way is not supposed to be Deadpool 3, is moving on July 24, 2024 into German cinemas.
