Martin participates in Sweden’s first international golf competition for the visually impaired

The Scandinavian Blind Golf Open runs for three days at Sollentuna golf club with 26 participants from a total of seven countries. In the past, the competitions have been arranged in England, the USA and Australia, among others.

Martin Forstner has always had a vision impairment and when he started playing golf in 2006 he had about 10 percent vision.

Today, he can only tell the difference between light and dark and must have the caddy Lasse with him, who instructs him on how to stand and hit.

– Was it too short, crooked, right or left, I have no idea at all when I hit the ball.
