Marseille interreligious dialogue anchored in the neighborhoods

Religions of the World takes you to Marseille, a city of more than 800,000 inhabitants open to the Mediterranean and to the world, where all nationalities and faiths meet, a city where interreligious dialogue has been promoted for several decades, in particular by Jean-Marc Aveline, priest then archbishop of Marseille, who was appointed cardinal by Pope Francis in August 2022. Exchanges encouraged by representatives, in particular Catholics, Muslims and Jews who work in the field. A dialogue that has been strengthened after the attacks of 2015.
