Two people have died as a result of a Russian robot attack on Odessa, local authorities say.

According to Oleh Kiper, regional governor of Odessa, it was a married couple who were killed.

Earlier, Ukraine’s air defenses were reported to have shot down a Russian robot and ten drones during the night. According to Ukrainian Ukrinform, Russia fired a total of three robots and 14 Iranian-made Shahed drones.

“The invaders have attacked the Odessa region with two ballistic Iskander robots launched from occupied Crimea,” the air defense wrote on Telegram.

The third robot, a Ch-59 attack robot, was reportedly fired from Russian-occupied territory in the Zaporizhzhya region.

Russia, for its part, claims to have shot down around 30 Ukrainian drones during the night and morning, AP reports.
