On the third of October 2024, Married at First Sight – in Winter Dress premiered on SVT Play and SVT1.
In the show, four couples will marry the first time they meet and then live together.

What is new about this year’s season is, among other things, that it is winter and the participants will have a winter wedding.
In previous seasons, the weddings took place in summer.
The program has also received two new experts, Lemarc Thomas and Delphine Carter.
One of the couples in the winter season is same-sex, which has only happened twice before on the show.
One of the participants in the season that premieres on October 3rd is Selma Kamali from Malmö.
— I’ve always been a relationship person, but I hadn’t found the right one and I was almost the only one who was single among those I know. It was a fun thing to test what happens if someone else chooses for me, she said in an interview with TT and continued:
— I’ve always wanted to go on a blind date. So I felt this was “the ultimate blind date”.
