Anttila has agreed on one additional year with Oulu Kärppie. The league gold is still missing from Marko “Mörkö” Anttila.
Kärpät has signed an extension with the attacker Marko Anttilan with. The agreement covers the 2024–2025 season. The season is Anttila’s third in a row in Kärppäpaida.
The two-time world champion and Olympic gold medalist brings a lot of experience and leadership to the team. In addition to the domestic league and prestigious competitions, the attacker has also had time to play in the KHL and the Swedish main league.
In the past season, Anttila played all 60 regular season matches with an output of 13+14=27. During the season, among other things, he broke the 100-goal barrier in the League and Kärpät won bronze. Kulta Anttila is still missing from Liiga.
Kärppi’s sports director Mikko Myllykoski is satisfied with Anttila’s continuation.
