In an interview with the BBC, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte describes yesterday’s meeting between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyj as “unfortunate”, AFP reports.
He also says he urged Zeleskmyj to “repair” the relationship with the US president.
In the interview, the NATO chief says that the United States, Ukraine and Europe must “hold together” to secure long -term peace in Ukraine.
– I’ve talked on the phone with President Zelenskyj twice now. I told him we had to stick together, he says.
