Mario Rabbids Sparks of Hope is out

Drawing attention with its fun and strategy-based gameplay dynamics, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope is out for the Nintendo Switch platform.

The second act opens in the Mario + Rabbids project, which brings together the beloved characters of Nintendo and Ubisoft. We talked about how fun this get-together was before in our Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle review. Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, which adds brand new dynamics as well as continuing the story, seems to take the event one step further. Ubisoft’s statement about the game’s release is as follows;

Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope is out for Nintendo Switch

Players will join the heroes, Mario and Rabbid, as they take on the evil cosmic entity Cursa, who seeks to plunge the galaxy into chaos. Determined to consume all the energy in the universe, Cursa and her minions hunt Sparks, mysterious creatures formed by the merger of Lumas and Rabbids, and destroy anyone in their path.

In their quest to save the galaxy, our heroes will travel and explore various planets filled with quirky locals and hilarious secrets, and also feature a colorful cast of characters, including Rabbid Rosalina and even a longtime foe, Bowser!

Combining turn-based tactics and real-time action, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope’s innovative combat system will allow players to use their heroes to dash through enemies, pounce on teammates, hide behind cover or take advantage of their special abilities. Thus, players will be able to spend each round in the most efficient and active way. With its unique gameplay, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope will be an amazing and fun tactical adventure for new players and genre experts alike.

Players will have to find and rescue Sparks to enable them to join the adventure, thus opening up new tactical possibilities to help heroes gain the upper hand in battles. As well as leveling up and customizing their heroes, players will have the opportunity to pair them with Sparks to unlock additional abilities! They all have different strengths and personalities, from energy shields to powerful elemental attacks.

This epic journey to save the universe is accompanied by music by a talented team of composers, including legendary Japanese composer Yoko Shimomura and multi-award winning composer Gareth Coker. Renowned British video game composer Grant Kirkhope is also returning to the series after masterfully composing the soundtrack for Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. The original soundtrack will be available on all major streaming services worldwide on October 21.
