Largest theme park on the Côte d’Azur, Marineland of Antibes is dedicated to marine animals. Sharks, penguins, fish, turtles, sea lions, killer whales, dolphins… They fascinate children from their pools, during performances, or during visits in small groups accompanied by trainers. The park also offers souvenir shops and food outlets.
What new shows at Marineland in 2023?
During its winter closure, Marineland has improved living spaces for sea lions, but not only. Two new dolphin shows were also imagined. Throughout the 2023 season, these performances will fascinate visitors. “Marine emotions” takes place in the morning and allows you to discover more about these marine animals, while showing moments of complicity between the dolphins and their keepers. The afternoon, “magic dolphins reveals the extraordinary physical and intellectual abilities of these incredible animals.
What are the universes of Marineland?
Famous for its multiple species of marine animals, Marineland is divided into several themed areas.
- We thus discover the emblematic Fjord des Orques, Ile aux Dauphins and Rocher Otaries.
- Don’t miss the Shark Tunnel po observe the sharks more closely!
- In the Lagoon, we discover bottlenose dolphins and seals, marine animals,
- In the Lagoon Aviary, land and air animals are observed. This large aviary is home to many birds, including magnificent flamingos and peacocks.
- In the Antartica zone, it is penguins and penguins waiting for you
- THE Tropical Aquariums allow you to meet beautiful multicolored fish and corals.
What shows to see at Marineland?
Every day, there are no less than 17 animal representations and educational activities at Marineland. Two of them are particularly impressive and rare, because the one with killer whales is unique in continental Europe, and the one with bottlenose dolphins is the only one in the South of France. As for the sea lion shows, it is sure to make the whole family laugh! In terms of entertainment, it’s an opportunity to admire these mammals, but also other marine animals, such as Humboldt and king penguins, rockhopper penguins, sea lions, seals, sharks and turtles.
Meet marine animals
With the “Animal Encounters” by Marineland, children can go up close to killer whales, dolphins, sea lions and sharks to learn more about these species and discover how the keepers take care of them. Other experiences are offered to share a beautiful moment with marine animals, such as the Privilege Visits and the Dolphin Keeper experience. At Marineland Lagoon, the whole family can enjoy a magnificent swimming pool to relax and cool off, all with the proximity of bottlenose dolphins and seals, without disturbing them of course. Expect an additional cost for these experiences.
Cine 5D Adventure, an educational attraction
In 2018, Marineland inaugurated its first attraction that incorporates 5D, with larger than life special effects. The dynamic attraction is equipped with 123 seats. Visitors are invited to board a vessel for a journey in the Arctic, through breathtaking landscapes and scenes. But beware, during the journey, the limits of the ship will be put to the test. Through this novelty, the Marineland park takes the opportunity to inform and educate the general public about the preservation of species.

For the 2023 season, the park is open from March 31 to December 31. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., 6 p.m. or 7 p.m. depending on the dates. or from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. depending on the dates.

Adult (13 years and over); €39.90; child (from 3 to 12 years old inclusive): 32.90 euros. Free for children under 3 years. Preferential rates for advance reservations, for groups or for students, seniors, people with disabilities and promotions take place throughout the year, do not hesitate to inquire.
