The EF Education-Easy Post sprinter managed to successfully complete the difficult race in Mallorca. At 34 kilometers from the finish there was still a difficult climb to be conquered. Van den Berg was left with a small platoon. In a twisty last kilometer he chose the right position that allowed him to come out of the last corner first and win the sprint.
