A few months ago, the influencer Margaux Dietz ended up in a real storm. She posted a video of a beaten man outside her apartment door where her son was also in the clip.
The reactions were many. Several brands chose to end their collaborations with her and people expressed strong feelings on social media.
In an interview with Tilde de Paula Eby in “Efter fem söndag”, she opens up about the scandalous video and says that she regrets it. She says that there were four people who approved the film but that she takes full responsibility for it and has changed the procedures after this and she believes that this will never happen again.
Margaux Dietz also says that she will show her private life in a completely different way and will no longer have her son on social media.
– The first time was the worst time in my life. Somewhere I feel that I have come out stronger on the other side. I actually feel very well today, she says.
She regrets it and if she could rewind the tape to that day, she would have acted completely differently.
– I would never have posted that film, of course, she says.
She was also worried that someone would take her son when she was reported to social services.
– Social services got in touch. Then the whole world was falling apart. Then I thought someone would take Arnold away from me, she says.
