Marcus Berg scored two goals as IFK Gothenburg won

The victory was IFK Göteborg’s fourth in the last five games.

The match was goalless until IFK Gothenburg took the lead in the 21st minute, through Marcus Berg played by Thomas Santos.

The team made it 2-0 in the 35th minute, when Sebastian Hausner was hit on a pass by Marcus Berg.

IFK Göteborg also made it 3-0 just before the break, through Arbnor Mucolli played by Thomas Santos. Immediately after the break, Marcus Berg scored once again on a pass from Arbnor Mucolli and increased IFK Göteborg’s lead.

With just over half an hour left to play, Amane Romeo was hit on a pass by Tomas Totland and reduced for Häcken.

In the 75th minute, Häckens reduced Ali Youssef again, played by Tobias Sana. The 4-2 goal was the last of the match.

IFK Göteborg’s Marcus Berg accounted for two goals and one assist.

For IFK Gothenburg, the result means that they are now in twelfth place in the table, while Häcken is in second place.

The next time the teams play in the series is Sunday, September 3. Then IFK Göteborg meets Malmö FF at Eleda Stadium at 17.30. Hecken takes on Degerfors away at 3 p.m.
