The 67-year-old’s torso was found in plastic in a nature reserve.
Around Manchester was then found several other remains by the man – which was cut with an arch file.
On Friday, the man’s inherent, 42-year-old Marcin Majerkiewicz, was sentenced for the murder, reports BBC.
Their roads were first crossed in 2017 when the murdered man taught newly arrived Polish immigrants in English.
Shortly thereafter, Marcin Majerkiewicz moved in with the 67-year-old man.
Seven years later he killed him with a hammer -like weapon – and then cut up the body into 27 parts with an arch file.
Found in a nature reserve
The terrifying story took place in Manchester in northwestern England at the end of March last year.
At the beginning of April, a passerby found the first body part – a torso – invited in plastic wrap in an abandoned sand cushion in a nature reserve in the city.
On surveillance films from the site, a man appeared to fight with a heavy bag, but the suspect’s identity remained unknown.
Until Marcin Majerkiewicz was accidentally discovered by a police officer, who recognized the man from the surveillance images.
DNA from carpet
Later, several other body parts from the 67-year-old man were found in different parts of Manchester, dumped and disadvantaged by Majkiewicz to clear evidence.
The crime scene investigation showed that blood was on the carpet, wall and agency with the now convicted man. A cut -off piece of the carpet, found in a garbage basket outside the house, showed on DNA from the murdered man.
At the time of the murder, Marcin Majerkiewicz must have been unemployed and had debts of about £ 60,000 (almost SEK 800,000).
Was obsessed and blood and horror
The police should not have confirmed any clear motive for the murder, but have announced that Majerkiewicz should have had an obsession with blood and fear, and had a tattoo of the film character Jason Voorhees from the horror movie Friday the 13th.
After a three -week trial, the jury needed no more than two hours of deliberation to find that he was guilty of the murder.
