March was gray and drab: little sun and very wet

March was gray and drab little sun and very wet

Besides the fact that this March was exceptionally wet, the sun didn’t show much either. On average, the sun shines 145 hours in the first month of spring, but this year the total number of hours of sunshine will probably amount to about 115. This makes it the gloomiest month of March since 2005, when the sun shone for 118 hours.
