“Then I became interested in becoming a bus driver. Then I got my driver’s license and started driving.” Because of his background, the question arose whether he would like to help with the planning of the drivers. “There was an ‘automatic scheduling’ button at the time, but we weren’t allowed to use it because it didn’t work,” he says with a smile. “Yes, I saw that as a challenge to make it work.” And that worked and that is how his interest in computer systems arose.
