(Finance) – “The Trenitalia railways have a strong commitment to Marateale. It’s already the third year in a row that we’ve been partners in this beautiful event. First of all, to invite everyone and help everyone get to the event by train: with our Frecciarossa in just over two hours you can get to Maratea in great comfort. This is an important message on the occasion of Marateale but, more generally, for tourism in southern Italy because the train then continues to Reggio Calabria” . That’s what he said Luigi Corradi, managing director and general manager of Trenitalia, on the occasion of the press conference for the presentation of the film festival which from 25 to 29 July will enliven the city overlooking the Gulf of Policastro. The itinerant presentation of the festival, which began on carriage 2 of the Frecciarossa train of Trenitalia departed from Rome and ended at the Maratea station, was an opportunity to underline the importance of supporting initiatives such as that of Marateale in order to promote tourism, also of a cultural nature, especially in Southern Italy, and mobility on rails.
