The Marabou factory in Uppland’s Väsby has received a bomb threat.
The threat is anonymous and was received during the afternoon.
“All my colleagues who work hard in the factory every day should not have to put up with threats and hatred,” writes Marabou’s factory manager Daniel Norman to TV4 Nyheterna.
Mondelēz International, the company behind Marabou, confirms to TV4 the news that the factory in Upplands Väsby received an anonymous bomb threat on Monday afternoon.
“I really regret that it has gone this far. All my colleagues who work hard in the factory every day should not have to put up with threats and hatred. Marabou is a Swedish brand, with production locally in Sweden, and those who work at Marabou do not manufacture a single product that is available in Russia,” says Marabou’s factory manager Daniel Norman.
The police: “Can put people in danger”
They further write that they do not intend to comment on security measures.
The police do not want to comment on the incident.
– I will not discuss this. We are not talking about threats against people or companies, that can put people in danger, says police spokesperson Towe Hägg.
