Marabou is criticized
The Construction and Environment Office in Upplands Väsby, where Marabou has its factory, has established that the chocolate giant has not been careful enough to report the net weight on one of its products, namely Twist.
It is believed that Mondelez, who owns Marabou, has not been clear enough about how much the product weighs without the package.
The twist packs of 145 grams are affected.

Mondelez previously promised to clarify net weight this summer, but the municipality has now requested that it be done in a shorter period of time. “The schedule is unreasonably long,” the decision states, according to the newspaper.
Now the net weight must be stated on the packaging more clearly on April 28, 2025. By law, the net weight must be placed in the same area as the designation.
