Maps wins a 4 million euro tender launched by EFSA with EcoMole

MAPS 116 million euro contract in the Legality Transparency

(Finance) – Mapsa company listed on Euronext Growth Milan and active in the digital transformation sector, announced that the business consortium participated by Maps and led by EcoMole, a company based in Prague, has signed a framework agreement with EFSAthe European Food Safety Authority.

The agreement, lasting one year, provides for an automatic annual renewal for a further three years, for a maximum duration of four years, in exchange for a total amount of 4,000,000 euros. The amount is not binding for EFSA, which may request services from the Consortium on the basis of orders that will be issued from time to time. Furthermore, during the period, EFSA will be able to extend the agreement to other scientific fields, increasing the amount up to a maximum of 50% compared to what is already foreseen.

The agreement is aimed at providing the necessary support for the processes of collection, analysis and management of scientific data in different fieldsincluding: bioinformatics, pesticide residues and pesticide active substances, chemical contaminants, food additives, food contact materials, food composition, veterinary medicinal products, food consumption surveys, plant and animal health and controlled terminology .
