The Utrecht New Economy Index (NEx) measures the economy on seven themes: biodiversity, circular economy, real prices, green energy, inclusive entrepreneurship, transparent chains and new wealth. By new wealth, the municipality means “health, well-being and satisfaction.” Various methods were used for the research, including a survey that almost 500 entrepreneurs completed.
