Almost 17,000 candidates applied for summer jobs at the Correctional Service this year. This is an increase of 2,440 applications compared to last year.
The absolute largest occupational group of summer temporary workers is correctional officers.
“We are of course happy about the great interest. This means that we will have better conditions to run a good correctional service all over Sweden during the summer”, writes Hanna Frummerin, head of HR at the authority, in a press release.
