Many still doubt whether it is real

A big new survival MMO, “The Day Before,” is scheduled to launch on December 7th, which many see as a kind of “The Division with zombies.” But even though the developers even give exact release times, many fans are skeptical as to whether the game even exists.

When should the game start?

  • The Day Before is back on Steam after a long absence and a naming dispute. The game is scheduled to launch worldwide for PC on December 7, 2023.
  • In Germany the launch is scheduled to take place at 7 p.m. This is a start to early access.
  • Announced versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X are scheduled to appear at a later date.
  • The Day Before gives new impressions in the final trailer

The Day Before gives the exact release time on Steam – meets with a lot of skepticism

What are the reactions to the announcement?? Although the game gives exact release times, many people are still skeptical about whether the survival MMS even exists under the tweet:

  • One Twitter user says The Day Before is the “most secretive, least revealing game ever.” He explains that even though you’ve seen a lot, it feels like you haven’t seen anything yet.
  • Another Twitter user, with whom many agree, simply says: “I still don’t believe the game is real.”
  • A third said: “One thing is clear, I’m waiting to buy until the reviews are in.”

Why is the game so controversial? The development story of The Day Before has been pure chaos up to this point and the release now also seems strange. The release was actually announced for November 11th and a beta was supposed to come out before then.

But shortly before the actual launch date, the release was postponed to December 7th and quickly declared a “start into early access”. There is no longer any talk of a beta.

It probably irritated a lot of people that The Day Before disappeared from Steam for months because they didn’t even have the rights to its name. In addition, for many it seems unbelievable that the studio can manage a game like this, because for many “The Division, but with zombies” looks too good to be true.

Even the launch trailer was viewed very skeptically:
