Nightlife has largely come to a standstill due to the measures introduced by the cabinet to curb the corona virus. For example, there were no festivals and hardly any tourists in the Netherlands, which meant that much less drugs were used. “And so we saw very few incidents with ecstasy use. And because there were few tourists, we hardly saw any incidents with cannabis,” says physician-epidemiologist Esther Croes.
