Outside Yxnerum, 2 hectares of forest were on fire and helicopters were on their way to help the 15 firefighters working on the ground.
Two and a half miles south of Linköping there was a fire in another place. There, too, reinforcement with extinguishing from the air was requested.
During Saturday, there were also a number of smaller grass and forest fires.
The fire risk in Götaland and Svealand is extremely high in many places right now. Along the southern Norrland coast, the area with extremely high fire risk stretches all the way to Sundsvall.
