Only 38 percent of Swedes who are older than 80 have been vaccinated with the recommended top-up dose against covid-19, according to the Public Health Agency.
Since March 1, it is recommended that everyone over 80, and people who live in special housing, get vaccinated with two top-up doses during the year, one in the spring and one in the fall.
– We want to draw attention to people who are over 80, their relatives and healthcare staff that it is important that this age group has access to vaccination, says Sören Andersson at FHM in a press release.
