Seventy-five civilians have been killed in clashes in Myanmar after an alliance of ethnic minority groups launched an offensive against the military last month, the United Nations said.
“Initial reports indicate that 75 civilians, including children, have been killed and 94 people have been injured,” the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs wrote in a statement.
Another 200,000 people are displaced due to the fighting in the country, according to the UN.
