Many children have difficulty pooping at school Hear and smell

The Maag Lever Darm Stichting asked a thousand children aged 8 to 16 about their toilet use. Most children, 91 percent, do go to the toilet, but more than 60 percent hold their poop. “The toilets often have doors that you can look under. That doesn’t provide any privacy,” says Mariël Croon, director of the foundation. People also smoke or vape in school toilets.
