Manchester United supporters had a big day on Sunday as the team made their first appearance in the Premier League under a new manager By Ruben Amorim under.
Marcus Rashford provided the commander with an unforgettable start when he managed to score against Ipswich in the second minute. The new head coach did not fan the goal wildly, but sat calmly on his bench.
Late in the opening period, Ipswich came really close to an equaliser. Liam Delap got to the open spot, but Andre Onana stretched out for an incredible save.
A couple of minutes later, the ball found its way into the net. Omari Hutchinson the shot bounced and Onana could not save anymore.
Onana kept the visitors up as Ipswich actively sought the winning goal at the end of the second period. The game ended in a 1–1 draw. ManU is twelfth in the Premier League. Ipswich came third last.
It also happened at the top of the series. Liverpool was tight with the series jumbo against Southampton, but the team rose Mohamed Salah’s with two goals for a 3–2 away win.
Salah has now scored ten goals in 12 matches. He is second in the goalscoring statistics, two goals behind City About Erling Haaland.
In the league table, Liverpool increased their lead over second-placed City to eight points.
